Youth Group is for anyone who is aged 12 to 19 (roughly confirmation age to the age of majority in BC) but there is a bit of leeway on this for any young people who want to join our activities. Friends and siblings are more than welcome to come. The youth group is about having young Christians join together in fun, fellowship, and service.

Youth Schedule:

First Saturday of the Month at 11:30am: Meeting, lunch, and games

Third Saturday of the Month at 11:30am: Bible study, lunch, and games

Once a Month (see below for date, time, and location): Youth Fellowship Event

Once a Month (see below for date, time, and location): Youth Service Event

Events for June 2024:

Due to a tight schedule with Confirmation Sunday, the Youth Meeting which is normally on the first Saturday of the month is moved to the second Saturday of June (the 8th).

A service event in preparation for Father’s Day at the church is making some baked goods for everyone.

Saturday, June 28 at 10:30am      Hiking at Mt Douglas

Come join the youth after school’s out for a morning hike in Victoria.

Events for May 2024:

Normally, the youth group meets on the third Saturday for lunch, Bible study, and games. For May, we are having the study after our activity at Langford Lanes on <ay 24 instead.

Friday, May 24 at 4pm          Youth Activity at Langford Lanes

We have booked two lanes for an hour for the youth (and any parents who might be joining them) then going out afterward for some beverages and conversation.

Saturday, Apr 20 at 11am          Youth Trip to Beacon Hill Park

Starting at the Beacon Hill Children’s Farm, the youth will be exploring and picnicking at Beacon Hill Park.

Events for March 2024:

Friday, Mar 22 at 4pm             Exorcising Haunted Mini-Golf

The youth are invited to come out to Haunted Mini-Golf (711 Yates St). Since we are a church group, we will head there in the theme of “exorcising” the premises. Youth are invited to bring crosses, crucifixes, and Bibles. (Keep in mind that this is about displaying our faith in an unbelieving world, not cosplaying Christianity.) Please let Pastor Chandler know by Sunday, Mar 17, if you are planning on attending so he can book a spot for all the youth ($18 for 15 and under).
