Jesus promises to us that he will come on the Last Day to deliver us from the evil of this world and bring us into paradise. The day and hour is unknown, but there are many different positions about how this will come about. Lutherans are Amillennialists which means we believe we are in the End Times now and are awaiting the resurrection with hopeful expectation.
