Sermon

Sermon Text: Hebrews 10:14-18

Jesus has perfected for all time those who are being made holy. This might sound odd to us since we all know we are not perfect. There are still things we get wrong and sins we do. However, we can rest assured that Christ came into this world to save sinners. Truly, he has saved us with his sacrifice on the cross which has forgiven our sins. We stand in perfect relation with our God through faith right now, we only wait for the time when are perfectly holy on the Last Day. But there remains no other sacrifice we must give and there is nothing we can do to make God love us more. He already loved us with the supreme gift of Christ crucified. Yet, having nothing left to sacrifice to be saved does not mean we have nothing left to do. We should still love, support, and encourage everyone in the faith as they live in the world. Just as we need to hear Christ’s love and forgiveness, so we should give his love and forgiveness to one another.
