Sermon Text: Hosea 6:1 (Spiritual Surgery)

The Lord declares He tears us apart that He might heal us. People outside the Church might presume, because they seem spiritually fine to themselves, that this is God trying to falsely accuse us of sin so that He may play the Saviour and heal us. However, that hardness of heart to admitting our own sin is the pride God seeks to remove from us. Like no surgeon can heal without making a cut or puncture somewhere, God does tear us apart that He might tear out our guilt and start our healing process.
